A Word from the Founders About the Program

Chess helps children to develop a variety of skills that are fundamental for success in life, not only the game itself: tactical problem solving, memorization and pattern recognition, concentration, and strategic thinking.
We developed our curriculum using our personal knowledge of chess and combined experience of 30+ years of being chess students, professional players, and, finally, teachers.
In our program students will:

  • Work mindfully with the board and the pieces
  • Learn to ask the right questions to assess and solve problems
  • Create and execute multi-step strategies
  • Think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
  • Make decisions under time pressure
  • Be a respectful collaborator in any situation

How It Works

All teachers we work with are trained in our in-house developed curriculum. Our classes are built as a combination of learning the rules and strategies as well as facing practical problems.

  • Classes are grouped by skill or age
  • We accommodate various skill levels
  • Kids learn in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere
  • If you find that our program is not the right fit for your child, you can withdraw after the first class and get your money back

What Families Say About Us

"

My son's focus and grades improved dramatically after just one semester. He talks chess strategy at the dinner table now.

"

The GMs teach more than chess — they teach kids how to think. My daughter is more patient and approaches problems with real confidence.

Yeva M.
Parent of a student, Bay Area
"

Best investment in our son's education. Small groups mean he gets coached, not just supervised.

Have Questions?

Are your instructors experienced?

All our instructors are trained in the curriculum developed by the founding grandmasters and have extensive experience working with kids and managing the classroom. Every instructor is passionate about helping children build confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of chess.

Can my child try a class first?

Yes. If your child doesn't feel the class is the right fit after their first lesson, we'll refund your tuition. We want every student to feel confident, challenged, and excited to learn.

Kids of what level and age do you teach?

Our chess classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. We teach kids ages 5–16, starting with the fundamentals and building up to advanced strategies. Your child will be supported from their very first lesson.
